Preston’s Brasserie

For an outdoor setting with unobtrusive views of Atlantic sunset, there are few restaurants in South Beach which can match the grandeur of Preston’s Brasserie. It is the most popular eatery at Loews hotel in Miami. Consistent innovations keep locals happy who adore Chef’s emphasis on unique dishes. The vast outdoor terrace is frequented by celebrities, politicians and sportsmen, some of whom have become accustomed to its seasonal menu. It is precisely why the food always seems to be an assortment of French, American and Italian cuisine.

The morning starts with rock shrimp frittata stuffed with plentiful Asiago cheese, spinach and roasted tomatoes. Custom made omelets can also be prepared at a moments notice. Pancakes, waffles, croissant and French toast are served with a custom combination of fresh juices. Among the favorites is Egg Benedict ‘Cubano’, served on tostada bread sautéed with onions, potatoes and Chorizo sausage. Those looking for heavy meal should try smoked salmon on toasted bagel with pot of Kapalua dark coffee.

For lunch, squash soup with toasted marshmallows, tomato carpaccio or lamb chops with risotto are enough to fill a heavy weight. If you have somehow skipped lunch, then don’t miss grilled dry aged New York strip steak and oven seared natural half chicken. As for kids, they always love baked or fried chicken tenders with barbecue sauce and honey mustard. Spaghetti meatballs and sour cream chicken or cheese quesadillas are equally mouthwatering. There is a lot of emphasis on vegetable, herbs and organic fruits which is evident by an abundant supply of these nutrients in every dish, on offer. Most desserts are served tapas style.

It is important to remember that this is not a budget place. Although price is on a higher side but variety and customized entries are what makes it a popular spot among locals. Preston’s Brasserie also offers a full bar for those who cannot resist the temptation of fine Vodka. It is recommended to reserve in advance as dinners and breakfast are usually full house, on weekends. Since Loews allows entry to all of its public places, visitors in casual dress are always welcome. Therefore, takeout is also an option.
