A Millionaire's playground, Miami Beach is all about sun, sea and sand. Popular as a spring break destination, its miles of pristine sands shelve gently into the turquoise Atlantic Ocean.
Lining the beach are tall palm trees and the promenade, famous for the beautiful people that go rollerblading by. Add to this a warm, subtropical climate and you can see why many celebrities have chosen to set up home in Miami Beach.
You might even spot some of them shopping in the designer boutiques along Lincoln Road. And if your budget doesn’t quite stretch that far, there’s still a great range of shops with more moderate prices, including Aventura Mall and CocoWalk.
The city also has its fair share of culture, including the Art Deco District, which houses the world’s largest collection of Art Deco architecture, including some of the brightly-lit Miami Beach hotels on Ocean Drive.
Comprising a series of islands just across Biscayne Bay from Miami (the route you take from Miami Airport), this city has a heavy Latin American influence, which is evident in the cuisine and fantastic nightlife. Whether you choose Miami Beach accommodations in the North Beach, Mid Beach or South Beach areas, a Cuba Libre - rum and coke - is never far away.
Lots of fun in Miami Beach and area! Good mix of ages and ethnicities. Great food in little restaurants and cafeterias on Washington St such as Pizza Rustica (GF pizza options) and great smoothies and meats (which you can buy on their own or in meals with rice, beans, etc, also gluten free) at Dulce Cafeteria. Lots of fancier restaurants, clubs and shops on Ocean Dr. Transportation is great — there are free local loop busses, and reasonably priced busses for longer transportation that link to other cities and airports such as Fort Lauderdale and the Sunny Isles Beach (Haulover Parks and Beaches). It is a clean and safe city, and had a good police presence in the busiest areas at night. If the opportunity arises, I would go back.

The hotel itself is in a good location..close to most everything. The staff very pleasant, very helpful. The Gm hardly ever available. I encountered a roach infestation which should have taken care of immediately and I should have been moved to another room. Instead days later the room was sprayed...and I suffered a medical issue..which then the GM deflected and tried to put the blame on me

The Beach was clean and groomed daily.
The Beach was clean and groomed daily. Beach guards and attendants warned bathers not to stray too close to jetty on windy/ heavy surf days and not to use glass bottles on beach. This kept the beach clean and safe for all.👍

As a recent resident forced out due to exorbitant and rapidly rising cost of homeowners insurance, plus the plethora of new assessments forced upon condominium owners, largely due to the city enforcing revised laws and statutes for condominiums.
So, I am not an actual tourist but still need to visit periodically for medical reasons.
South Beach is a wonderful place to visit!

It was my first trip to miami and last , it was my kids wish to visit and i had to do it , i dont think i will ever go back , purely because everything is expensive in comparison with uk and other eu countries , even supermarket groceries were ridiculous i am bot sure how americans are surviving, everyone is crying and i feel sorry for them, i think people need to think twice before visiting miami , i would rather go on holidays elsewhere
If you do go here are few places to visit
Nikki beach restaurant
Harbour shopping mall
Lincoln mall road
Watr rooftop
My husband and I stayed here for 4 days to celebrate our babymoon. Hotel pics look exactly how you see it on the website. Hotel is very clean, we were greeted each time we entered the hotel. Excellent location in South Beach. The beach is easy walking steps from hotel and easy access to numerous restaurants. The bed was comfortable.
The restaurant next door we ate one day for breakfast and it was delicious. The French toast was amazing.
Plenty of street parking and parking garages nearby.
Hotel is two towers with a small lap pool in the middle. It is located directly across from the beach which was excellent. Valet parking was an additional $50 per night which was expensive. The restaurant located in the hotel is below average and would NOT recommend eating there, so many better places off Ocean Drive. South Beach is a unique experience but i would not stay on Ocean Drive again instead stay in Lincoln drive area which is much more classier and close by
This is my 3rd visit to Dream South Beach since 2015. Been there for Halloween each time (the 10 block long street party at Lincoln Road is a blast). As for Dream South Beach, I have found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and attentive. The Hotel is only on block from the beach and overlooks the Versace Mansion. The rooftop pool is the place to chill after spending several hours on the beach, the rooftop bar is a great place to enjoy a drink before dinner.
It's a super pretty boutique style hotel in South Beach. We loved the location as it was our second location in Miami beach. First we stayed a bit more to the north where we were more in the middle of the action and then we moved to this hotel which is in a more quiet area of south beach. The mix was perfect for us.
Very pretty lobby with complementary water and good coffee in the morning. Really nice outside sitting area.
Staff was friendly and helpful too.
Wow what a great hotel. Have stayed in Miami Beach many times and this place was really the best. Fabulous super large and very comfortable room with wonderful views. Spent most of our time on the beach. Pools are small and over crowded but we were visiting in peak season I guess. The hotel has a great gym and a very nice coffee/breakfast/lunch resturant which we used during the day but would go out for dinner.
The hotel is located in a quiet, pleasant and safe area. You can walk to the main points of interest in South Beach. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The best value is the hotel staff: very friendly and always willing to help with any need we had. I want to highlight Victor (valet parking service) for his professionalism and friendliness.
The staff is great. Delson and the young lady at the bar were great - always with a smile and always helpful. Front desk was attentive and plesant. The location just below 5th makes it a quiet getaway just steps from everthing you expect at South Beach. Has a great front porch and lobby which is not the norm in many of the SB hotels.
It’s a great location and a quiet place after being in the wild and party area of South Beach was really north of south beach was good spot for shopping and dining I like trying different hotels in the area. If your a pool person don’t stay here way to small and dead on the roof unlike other hotels I’ve stayed at in South beach
Direct ocean access, clean and quiet compared to 99% of South Miami Beach hotels. No insects in the room, no electricity issues, no hot water issues, which is also quite rare for this price in South Miami Beach.
TLDR: awesome price/value for this specific location full of run-down properties with rude management.
Great hotel in an art deco style on Ocean Drive, fantastic staff, clean, the location was perfect. The staff on reception were exceptional giving helpful advice about the area. The location for South beach couldn't be better. The two ladies working in the breakfast area were really nice and the food was great.
Excellent hotel with excellent location located in one of the best neighborhoods of South Beach. Rooms were extremely clean, cozy & comfortable! Would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody. We had a great experience! Thank you again Karina for going just that little step extra for the guests!!!
Good stay in Miami. The Hotel is near the beach, alot of fast food and restaurants and supermarket. The best of all is it is not too pricey for a stay in South Beach. The free Miami Beach tram is near the establishment and we used it to go to Miami Beach. Room was also spacious and be comfortable.
Service throughout the hotel, pool, beach, parking etc was exceptional. Staff was always eager to assist and please. Beachfront in SoBe with staff on beach as well. Bar staff remembered my name; impressive. Hotel moved us up 8 floors when I requested a better oceanfront room. Awesome.
Very good breakfast - freshly prepared for each guest. Very good location - 10-15 minutes walk to the South Miami Beach and easy access from the bridge. Friendly and helpful staff. We felt more like visiting good friends than in the hotel. I think this was a perfect choice!
The location of the hotel is excellent. Just on the south beach. The room was of good size and clean. The breakfast was in a nearby restaurant .Although it is not a buffet but an American breakfast but it was excellent. Staff is very polite and helpful.
Great location and met great people in the area. The people are so friendly. Close to stores, restaurants, and quick drive to South Beach and Ft. Lauderdale. The hotel was safe with a code on the door to get in and cute restaraunt attached.
everything! hotel was in the best location! probably the best hotel in Miami Beach front. offered lots of think included in the price such as towels and sea chairs and also bicycles. staff super friendly. great pool.
I liked that the hotel was all 'South Beach' atmosphere on the outside and yet very clean modern and efficient in the rooms.
The extra perks were very nice and the staff was very helpful and pleasant.
The size of the room compared to other hotels on Ocean Drive. It also included a full size refrigerator and microwave in my particular room which is another rare amenity for a South Beach hotel.
