Attractions at The Renaissance Eden Roc Miami Beach
The main attractions at The Eden Roc Miami Beach are basically the same as they are for every hotel in the Miami area, the beach and the South Beach scene. Miami’s Beaches are each a little bit different and draw a different crowd, learn a bit about the beaches before you decide to spend a day at one. If you’re inclined to spend more time in and around the hotel you’ll be pleasantly surprised at everything there is to see and do. The Eden Roc is located on Miami Beach for ocean front fun, but there hotel’s two infinity edge pools provide additional options for swimmers as well. There is also a hotel whirlpool for a relaxing dip in the water. Near the Eden Roc you will also find a biking trail, bowling alley, jet skiing, a running and fitness trail, nature preserve, sailing, scuba diving, surfing, tennis, volleyball and water-skiing. For the duffers in the crowd there are at least five golf courses within 15 miles from the hotel; the Miami Beach Golf Club, Biltmore Golf Course, Bayshore Golf Course, Don Shula’s Golf Course and the world famous Doral Golf Resort. An exciting new addition to The Renaissance Eden Roc Miami Beach is expected to arrive in early 2010, the Spa of Eden. This new spa will offer body scrubs, facial treatments, fitness counseling, foot baths, manicures, pedicures, a variety of massages, paraffin hand treatments and waxing. The fitness center is a little lacking at the Eden Roc but there is enough equipment to give you a thorough work out with the cardiovascular equipment and free weights. For dining options there are a number of incredible restaurants within walking distance, but the hotel does provide options on site. The lobby bar is eclectic and actually draws quite a notable crowd. The Cabana Beach Club is oceanfront dining featuring Floribean cuisine and live happy hour entertainment most weekend nights. Gia Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar specializes in Italian meals with the perfect wine pairings. Seating is located both indoor and alfresco on the oceanfront.
