Staying at Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach brings all of that together in a high end relaxing getaway. This luxurious Miami Beach resort sits right on the ocean and offers an upscale escape to all of its guests. Located on 4.5 acres of incredible beachfront property with 400 feet of coastline this remarkable hotel is a sophisticated delight.

The Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach features 188 residences and 54 guest rooms and 43 suites. No corners are cut when it comes to luxury in the rooms with incredible fabrics and gracious amenities. The bathrooms feature imported marble, double sinks, both a bath rub and an enclosed shower, magnificent views, goose down duvet and pillows, CD players, iPod docking stations, high speed internet access, and flat screen televisions. The rooms feature ocean views or views of the Intracoastal Waterway, a sitting area, writing desk, private terraces and some have a pull out sofa sleeper. The suites features the same amenities as the rooms but have ocean views, granite countertops, a sub-zero built-in refrigerator in the gourmet kitchen, a microwave, dishwasher, stainless steel sink and garbage disposal. Some suites also feature one and a half bathrooms and a breakfast room.

Attractions at Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach

The main attractions at Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach are basically the same as they are for every hotel in the Miami area, the beach and the South Beach scene. Miami’s Beaches are each a little bit different and draw a different crowd, learn a bit about the beaches before you decide to spend a day at one. If you’re inclined to spend more time in and around the hotel you’ll be pleasantly surprised at everything there is to see and do. Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach is ideal for oceanfront fun but the Beach Club with its zero-entry pool is popular with all guests, as is the oceanfront recreation pool. If you have children in tow consider signing them up for one of the AcquaMarine children’s programs. These marine biology based programs are designed for kids aged 5 to 12 years and led by certified professionals. There also a number of other events to keep them occupied. If the little ones you have in tow are of the four legged variety you can arrange for pet walking services to give them the break they need. And while you’ve got some free time, why not explore the adults only tranquility pool, offering the escape many resort guests are looking for. If an even bigger escape is the goal then the complimentary spa access to the Crystal Steam Rooms, Finish Saunas, Ice Fountains and Experience Showers may fit the bill, Otherwise the daily spa treatment credit of $40 can be used at ESPA at Acqualina. This day spa is a remarkable 20,000 square feet of luxury packed into two stories that overlook the Atlantic Ocean. The spa features tailored treatments using the best combination of ancient and new therapies to get remarkable results. There are also locker rooms with saunas, steam rooms, relaxation lounges and an outdoor spa veranda with spa pools. If it’s more activity you’re looking for, guests at Acqualina can enjoy golf and tennis at nearby private clubs.

Dining at Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach

There are a number of dining options at Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach. Aaria Bar & Lounge features a 20 foot bar and separate lounge area, focusing on cocktails but also having a pretty satisfying lounge menu for small meals or snacks. The outdoor veranda makes it an ideal location for late afternoon cocktails or for breakfast. Il Mulino New York is based on its big city namesake, known for its incredible Italian cuisine and market fresh daily specials. Transplanting some of this incredible menu to Miami, Il Mulino New York features a pick up and go menu or breakfast in the Aaria Lounge. At Costa Grill you can enjoy a tasty beachside lunch or light snack of gourmet sandwiches, burgers, wraps and salads. If it’s something a bit more romantic that’s calling to you, try an intimate beachfront dinner for two. Acquilina will transform the veranda into an secluded dining area for two with food served from the fabulous Il Mulino. And finally, the in-room dining option is available with menu items from all of the hotel’s fabulous dining options.
