W South Beach’s luxury accommodations vary to fit different lifestyles and budgets. The residences and guest rooms range from a cozy 574 square feet to a get-lost-in-your-own-room 3,000 square feet. This first all condo hotel for the W has been decked out to the nines with white ceramic tiles, a wood grain finish, screens to separate the rooms, Italian steel grey sofas, flat screen plasma televisions and photographic art work from rock photographer Danny Clinch. The oversized bathrooms are a true delight with Cippolino marble, chrome fixtures, spacious showers, and suites with Japanese soaking tubs. Many of the guest rooms also feature a washer and dryer, a kitechenette, Wolf range, microwave, Italian cabinets, granite or synthetic quartzite countertops and the W’s signature Munchie Box. There are a number of different rooms to choose from including the following: Wonderful Studio, Spectacular Studio, Fabulous Studio, Fantastic Suite, Marvelous Suite, Mega Suite, Sanctuary Suite, Oasis Suite, Cool Corner Suite, Sensational Suite, WOW Suite, E-WOW Suite, Penthouse Suites, Bungalow. Each room has its own unique features and appeals to different guests.

Attractions at W South Beach

The main attractions at W South Beach are basically the same as they are for every hotel in the Miami area, the beach and the South Beach scene. Miami’s Beaches are each a little bit different and draw a different crowd, learn a bit about the beaches before you decide to spend a day at one. If you’re inclined to spend more time in and around the hotel you’ll be pleasantly surprised at everything there is to see and do. W South Beach is a luxury destination hotel and knows how to not only treat its guests right but to keep them happy at “home”. Since South Beach is about the water the W has created an incredible oasis around their pool with five beach bars, secret gardens and private bungalows for the ultimate in poolside relaxation. If you’re looking for the actual beach, W offers a variety of motorized and non-motorized beach equipment for guests to use and rent. Having that beach-worthy body is one thing but keeping it is another and since W offers long and short term stays, exercise becomes a focus for many. Try the regulation sized basketball court, a game of tennis, or the brand new Bliss Spa. Bliss Spa’s 7,000 square foot facility on South Beach gives you a full menu of treatments from massage to a simple wax to clean  you up for the beach. If you want a break from the sun and heat there are a number of cool if not icy places to shop including Bal Harbor Shops, Lincoln Road Shopping, Collins Avenue Shopping Area, Aventura Mall, and The Webster. Or, if you don’t want to leave the hotel, W The Store is packed full of interesting hip and design focused items including bedding, jewelry, personal care and more than a handful of gifts for friends and family back home.

Dining at W South Beach

There are a number of dining and bar options at W South Beach. Mr Chow features authentic Asian specialties. The restaurant will seem familiar to W guests who have been to a Mr Chows before as they’re all designed with the same signature interiors but it’s the food that really wows. Solea offers a unique mix of Spanish, French and New American cuisine. This globally inspired menu is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner and guests can choose to sit inside or out. This 180 seat restaurant is luxurious and comfortable, inviting a relaxing experience with world class cuisine. The Living Room Bar is actually the hotel lobby, but not your run of the mill lobby. Plan on coming back and hanging out in the Living Room, maybe catching a glimpse of some of the famous guests as they arrive. Grove is one of the outdoor lounges that give you a quick respite from the sun in the day and a happening place to hang  out at night. And finally there is WET Bar & Grille, poolside refreshments and snacks that make  your sunning experience more enjoyable.
