James Taylor and Carole King In Concert June 5th

Tickets are now available online for James Taylor and Carole King performing live at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise on June 5.

Five time Grammy winner James Taylor’s successful career as a singer, songwriter and guitarist began in the late sixties when he became one of the first artists signed to the Beatle’s record label, Apple, and released his first single, “Caroline In My Mind”. His breakthrough album, Sweet Baby James, which contained the hit single “Fire And Rain”, was released in 1970 and since then Taylor has enjoyed success with a long list of now classic titles including “You’ve Got A Friend”, “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)” and “Handyman”. His Greatest Hits album, released in 1976, has now sold over 12 million copies.

Carole King’s career began as one half of the hugely successful songwriting team, Goffin and King, with partner Gerry Goffin. Her first hit single, “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow”, written with Goffin when King was just 17 years old, went to #1. As a solo artist, King has released 25 albums, her most successful being the 1971 release, Tapestry, which contained classic tracks such as “Natural Woman” (famously recorded by Aretha Franklin), “I Feel The Earth Move”, and “So Far Away”. Winner of four Grammy Awards, the album has sold over 25 million copies.

Tickets for the event can be purchased online.
