Visitors often find Miami Beach Parking more difficult and complicated than they anticipate. Luckily, there are many parking garages located within walking distance of nearby attractions which can be used by beachgoers for an affordable price.
The first option is the 7th Street Garage which is located at the intersection of Collins Avenue and 7th Street, and it’s located just a block from Lummus Park and a few blocks from the beach, and has almost 500 spaces.
About 6 blocks north is the 13th Street Garage. It’s located at the corner of 13th Street and Collins. It’s just a block from the beach and a block from Lummus parkt.
One of the larger garages is located near the beach is the 42nd Street Garage. It’s located on 42nd Street and is in between Palm Avenue and Sheridan and offers 620 spaces and is a few blocks away from the beach. To get to the beach, you will need to walk up 41st Street.
The largest parking garage located near the Beach is the 17th Street Garage, which has almost 1500 spaces. It’s located on 17th street between Pennsylvania and Meridian, is only a few blocks from the Beach and can be easily accessed by walking down 17t Street.
The 12th Street Parking Garage is a small location which holds just over 150 cars. It’s located at the corner of Drexel and 12th Street and is a short walk from Miami Beach and Lummus Park.
Another popular option is the Anchor Shops Garage. The Anchor Shops is a popular retail mall located a few blocks from the beach. While the spots are meant for shoppers, beachgoers can park there as well.
Except for the Anchor Shops, all of the Miami Beach and South Beach Parking garages follow the same pricing schedule. They all accept the Miami Beach Parking Card and charge $1 per hour, with a max charge of $15 for any 24 hour period. Monthly passes for $75 per month can also be purchased.
