How to Get tickets to the South Beach Food and Wine Festival 2011

Food lovers who enjoy eating while relaxing in a warm environment have a little time left to prepare for the heat coming from the kitchens in South Beach. Miami is playing host to Food Network with all of their celebrity chefs on hand for the South Beach Wine and Food Festival.

The festival is in its tenth year of offering good eats for the masses. The dates for this year’s festival are February 24th through February 27th. As many as 50,000 attendees will be trying to purchase tickets to this event that offers good food and plenty of fun in the sun.

Ticket packages vary and many are sold out. However, there are still worthwhile events available to attend at the festival. Those who are interested in the event should reserve their tickets quickly. For $100 per person the Danny Meyer seminar will have food tasting options to try along with wine.

Zane Lamprey is teaching cocktail classes and he will take festival goers back to the 1920s with the drinks that were served during that era. This session is $85 per person and there may be plenty to sample.

The official site has access to all of the different dinners, cooking classes and festival experiences that are featured during the event. A fun opportunity for parents and kids is Kohl’s presents Fun and Fit as a Family featuring Kellogg’s Kidz kitchen at Jungle Island. For only $20 per person Food Network’s famous chefs Giada De Laurentiis, Rachel Ray and Tyler Florence will be there to show families how to eat healthy and stay fit. Kids will have an opportunity to play on the beach, be involved in the interactive kitchen, discover the animals located on Jungle Island and learn how to prepare meals that are healthy. Kids will be able to learn how to enjoy food preparation.

Attendees will have access to some of the best wine from all over the world. Barista’s will be there to advise festival goers how to choose the best wine with their meal.

For those attending the event proceeds help Florida International University’s teaching school for hospitality and tourism. It has become one of the largest festivals featuring food and wine in the country. More people attend the event each year offering food connoisseurs the opportunity to experience cooking made by famous chefs and the chance to learn cooking from them first hand.
